Leadership Decision Making Of Ceo Martin Thomas Essay

Leadership Decision Making Introduction In this week’s assignment, we have been asked to select a decision that that the CEO Martin Thomas is faced with in the Devise Products Unlimited (DPU) case study. First, we will discuss the selected issue faced by the DPU CEO. Next we will look at a decision-making approach and make recommendations to the DPU CEO how to apply it to the decision selected from the case study. Sales in Thomas’s parts division have been dwindling. He has worked with the quality control department to determine the cause. They identified a trend in customer complaints related to the attitude of the staff in the sales, engineering, and production departments. The staff was viewed as â€Å"unhelpful,† â€Å"mean,† and â€Å"angry.† Often customers commented that they felt like they were â€Å"bothering† the staff. The Pending Decision First, let’s start by looking at what the one of the decisions that the DPU CEO is facing. The decision that I have chosen to focus on is issue three from the case study: Sales in Thomas’s parts division have been dwindling.
